. . . . Abortion is a natural, fundamental human right for the first 11-weeks of gestation and was recognized as a natural, fundamental human right by AR Act 301.
. . . . Catholic "Pro-Life" AR citizens may not have agreed with this recognition of a natural right, following the Pope, but accepted this as a compromise stopping elective abortion of gestation when the human Fetus has a heartbeat at 12-weeks.
. . . . This would have been the strictest gestation regulation ever done due to granting the natural, fundamental human right to "electively" abort but also protect the Fetus after the first 11-weeks. The 20-week limitation was passed by the house already and will soon be law.
. . . . Ironically; This was de facto acceptance of free-will as the primary motivator of laws regarding human choices allowed by nature but prevented by U.S. laws, regardless. These laws are unique and are very limited. Age limits for drinking, voting, etc would have been joined with elective abortion of gestation. The very same law that would limit elective abortion of gestation to the first 11-weeks of gestation and make U.S. females as dignified and in control of their own bodies as if they lived in most of Europe.
Denmark, Finland, Germany, Portugal, Russia, and Italy prohibit elective removal of Fetus after 12-13 weeks with severe limitations. Austria, Norway, Switzerland, and Belgium allow elective removal of a Fetus before 12-weeks with very little restriction. France allow elective removal of a Fetus before 14-weeks with very little resistance. Sweden allows elective removal of a Fetus up to 18 weeks on request and up to up to 22 weeks for ‘Strong reasons’. Great Britain allows elective removal of a Fetus before 24-weeks.
Andorra, North Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Liechtenstein, Malta, Poland, and San Marino prohibit elective abortion of gestation by criminal law(s).
